Sagrada Familia & Parc Güell Elopement // Barcelona, Spain
So if any of you grew up watching the Cheetah Girls then you probably fell in love with Barcelona, Spain like I did. As you could probably imagine, I basically rewatched the movie about 20 times before hopping on a plane and heading over for the adventure of a lifetime. There it’s also a very strong chance that we embodied our childhood idols and sang Strut on the streets of Barcelona at least a handful of times 😉
But it was even sweeter when I was able to connect with Barcelona‘s finest wedding planner Cristina, with Cristina Claro Events, as she planned and designed this beautiful elopement in front of the breathtaking Sagrada Familia Basilica.
We woke up before the sun to get hair and make up completed and beat most of the tourists just so we could have this sweet slice of heaven to ourselves. But it didn’t just end there, we made our way over to Parc Güell to get one more view of the entire city. It was poppin’, and honestly, tickets to get into the park were sold out… Thankfully our groom, Gerard, worked his charm with the guards to make sure his bride had the best day ever and got us in. I think being in a wedding dress definitely helped our case. 😉
You can see the joy and light just exuding from these two. There are plenty of times when I happy squealed behind the camera and did a little dance because I couldn’t believe that this day was ACTUALLY HAPPENING!
Barcelona, Spain, you have my heart and I’ll be back soon! Who wants to come with me next time?!
