Oh you know, just the most beautiful Arizona desert elopement featuring a stunning Rue De Seine wedding dress and the goofiest and most beautiful couple ever!!

Basically all of my Arizona wedding dreams came true this day with Haley and Ryan who modeled for me and my sweet friend Madison with Madison August Events and Design. But as with every original plan you must have a plan B. 

What you see here is the stunning 45 minutes of no rain that we experienced that day. Moments before this we sat in a truck nervously eating pizza, being absolutely dumped on driving down the road trying to find a pocket of desert that was not in the line of fire in rain. Thank the heavens that our Lord came through to make this dream come true. 

We got the last shot, with just a few little sprinkles hitting us, and we packed everything up, sprinted back to the truck and just laughed, and smiled in delight knowing that we FREAKING DID IT!!!!

This is one of those moments when you recognize how important it is to have a wedding planner. So many things can go wrong on the day of, and to have extra hands on deck, in addition to someone who will calm your nerves is so so important as a bride. As a photographer I learned  how to shoot quickly to get everything that you need without anyone knowing what was happening behind the scenes. #fakeitilyoumakeit

Elopements are something that can be anything that you want them to be. Get all glam, grab some beers, even a pizza (I am also always more than willing to grab stuff on my way to meeting you), and set up a cute space to just enjoy your marriage in a place that is stunningly beautiful like the desert! This day is all about you. It should be the happiest moment of your life, and as your photographer I would love to make all of your dreams come true!

There’s something so beautiful but having just an intimate moment between you and the person you’re going to spend the rest of your life with. You also can get portraits that are just absolutely epic that you can share with your friends and family if you choose to do a reception afterwards. Please remember this in this time of the COVID-19 where people are being restricted from large gatherings, but that doesn’t mean you can’t have the day of your dreams. If anything it offers an opportunity to have it TWICE. I would love to partner with you and hear how you would use an intimate elopement.
